Every year I write a blog or a Facebook post urging people to consider art as a gift.
Gifting art is giving something that comes from the creative heart and mind of the artist.

Cool thing is art gifts come in so many varieties from art prints, canvas and metal artwork home decor items like pillows bedspreads, apparel items including T-shirts & scarves and my favorite tote bags you can't ever have enough of these and you're doing the planet a favor by most using plastic that's a double win! 

 For those smaller price point gifts think of art gifts like all occasion cards, a journal and even coasters and all of it with an art as the focal point.   

Isn't that just a bit more special than the tin of cookies, you end up re-gifting? 

The gift of giving is often overlooked, but making someone you love feel extra special with a unique gift such as art, is the best gift ever.

When you choose to buy from an artist you really are giving two gifts, one to the artist you purchase from and the other is who you gift it to. That's a pretty cool thing to be able to do.

Remember too you should shop early as  art gifts have to be made and take a little extra time.
